GIVING BREAD IN ADDIS

After our experience yesterday we tried something new today. After church instead of taking our second taxi to lunch we went into a bakery and each purchased a bag of bread (with about 12 breads per bag) and walked to our lunch destination passing out bread to the homeless and poor, they are truly thankful and I feel better doing that then handing them money. I have not gotten meal tickets but finally think I may know where it is and plan on going soon. I cannot hand them out in my neighborhood but will have to make a day of it and do things in that neighborhood. The reason I cannot hand them out by me is that it is to far and they cannot get over there to get the food. So the people in my neighborhood will continue to get bread and fruit. I will keep you posted on meal tickets.
