MY LAST DAY IN ADDIS

The day I hoped for when I first got here and dreaded from just before month three has finally arrived. My last day. I got up and packed (shocking I only did this the morning I was leaving) I then went around town saying good bye to all of my local friends. I was unable to find the homeless sisters, how sad. I also was not able to say good bye to Ababa because he was not working when I got to his bus terminal. Everyone was so sweet and are praying for my return.

I was being taken to the airport by two very special friends so one of them came by to get my suitcases so I did not have to think about them anymore - thank you!!! In the evening I was taken to an amazing restaurant - the best food in Addis - thank you dear!!! Then we went back to the house and played cards until it was time to go the airport. Of course what I knew what happened did, I was a puddle. It had started raining so while the gentleman from the airport loaded my luggage onto a cart I was prayed for. I was crying which I did all the way into the airport and for a while inside - hopeless. My suitcases were 7 kilos over so one of the men helped me move 2 kilos around and then they let me go without a fee - God bless them. My flights were uneventful and I am safely in England. Thank you all for following this amazing journey these past six months.
